A MESSAGE TO HIS EXCELLENCY PRESIDENT MOHAMMADU BUHARI AS HE TAKES OAT OF OFFICE FOR HIS SECOND TERM….FROM NATIONAL YOUTH ASSEMBLY OF NIGERIA NYAN….
Unbehalf of all the youths of Nigeria we say congratulation Mr president as you take the oat of office for your second term in office which coincides with 20 years of unbroken democracy in Nigeria.
On this occasion we wish to inform you about your past promises when you took over as president four years ago….
1- #5000 naira to all unemployed graduate
2- ending boko haram and its menace in one year
3- fuel to be sold for #85 per litre
4- a dollar to be #1/$
One of the historic statement in your speech in 2015 was..” I belong to everybody and I belong to nobody’….but after four years, your excellency all your promises was not met, you put blames on the past government and even your corruption fight betrayed your famous speech because it was one sided, yet Nigeria still gave you another four years to get things right…Mr president, we the youths of Nigeria are by this your second term asking you to so the following…
1- improve and keep to your promises
2- the rate of death caused by insecurity should be visited with great fight…
3- youth employment and empowerment should be vigorously pursued
4- job creation and education reform, especially the school fees of our universities should be looked into.
5- Good governance in appointment of your cabinet, let technocrats take over…
6 – your fight of corruption should holistic and not one sided
6- human capital development should be strengthened and also appointment of young youths into your cabinet is very important.
7- the power sector should be revisit and tackled to open up development.
8. Promotion of National Unity is very important, let your appointment of Security chiefs and other statutory positions reflects national spreads and let no zone be left out. Etc
We pray that you keep to your promises and deliver on them….Nigeria youths stand for good governance and nothing more…once again we say congratulations…
